Diamonds and Dust Lonesome Point Texas Book 3 edition by Lili Valente Jessie Evans Contemporary Romance eBooks

The home run neither of them expected…
Pike Sherman is a legend in Lonesome Point, a hometown boy who made it to the big leagues. Literally. Professional baseball acquired one hell of a pitching arm and its latest celebrity bad boy when the gifted Pike was drafted seven years ago. Pike’s broken heart came along for the ride, too, but he kept that private, and since leaving Lonesome Point has kept his distance from his hometown. But when Pike’s little sister, Mia, begs him to be the Dude of Honor at her wedding, he can’t refuse. He takes advantage of a break in the season and returns home to find himself thrown together with the one woman he never wanted to see again.
Tulsi Hearst is on the verge of losing her Equine Therapy business, and letting down all the kids she’s come to love. After a mix-up with the grant board, she needs to concentrate on finding more funding, not dealing with Pike Sherman, the boy she sacrificed so much for, and the one person she’s ever lied to. And what a lie it is… Pike would hate her if he found out. She knows she should stay far away from the brooding man her summer love has become, but Tulsi can’t resist a slow dance with the only boy who ever made her blood rush.
After just a few days back in Lonesome Point, Pike can’t imagine life without the girl he left behind, but when Tulsi’s secret is revealed, his heart is broken all over again. The only thing worse than losing Tulsi, is losing six years with the daughter he didn’t know he had.

Jessie...Why did you have to make me cry? I mean serious-tears-running-down-my-now-red-and-puffy-face cry?? Seriously the words started blurring and it made it really hard to read the last fifth of the book as fast as I wanted to...because I know you wouldn't leave me upset and I wanted to get to the good stuff.Pike and Tulsi's story is great! Secrets, lies, love...never a good combination. Young love is often discounted...too young to know what love is, too young to understand love, it's just hormones, etc. It's awesome to read a story about TRUE young love. Despite the fact they spent years torn a part by lies and one BIG secret, Tulsi and Pike's love ran deep. And I have to say that Clementine is very well-written. It's unusual for a child to have such a presence as her own intelligent, sensitive character in a romance and I truly love her spunk and love of life.
Our favorite characters reappear...the faithful friend Mia and Sawyer, or "the rock" as I like to call him for his rock steady presence for his friends, Bubba (oh dear lord Bubba) and straight-forward, get to the point Marisol (sorry I loved it when she cornered Tulsi at the wedding rehearsal LOL).
I can't wait for Glitter and Grit! I want to get to know Reece and find out what Lonesome Point man is going to steal her heart!

Diamonds and Dust Lonesome Point Texas Book 3 edition by Lili Valente Jessie Evans Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
I am absolutely loving this series. Pike & Tusli have loved each other forever, but sometimes it doesn't work out for the best at first. I fell in love with Clem from the beginning, she is very smart for her a child her age. I am just glad everything worked out for them, even if it did take a tragic accident to get them where they are today..
I love how each book in this series is about 2 characters in each book and really goes in depth about them and how they relate to the series. My favorite part was about Tilly and her daughter. I knew all along who the father was going to be. Glad she gets it all out in the open even though she was forced to. These are great books that hold your interest and make you want to keep reading to find out what is going to happen.
I have at least ten kindle books I haven't touched on my phone...but I just keep buying and reading my way through the series! I love how the characters and different stories can stand alone, but make for a richer storyline all together. This story had a rough plot - and I was struggling to work out how it would be resolved - Jessie Evans worked it out simplistically in a way that shows the power of love. Reality wise it isn't practical, but the romantic in me loves the virtual reality of the story.
Hot sexy Cowboys with strong willed women........... you can't go wrong. And when those same characters are written by Jessie Evans, well your going to get sucked in and then DEMAND that the guy become your newest Book Boyfriend!!! Diamonds and Dust has characters that are a little more jaded than most, a little more commitment shy (with reason) than most, but I think thats what makes it such a wonderful book. Watching these 2 overcome their pasts to move on to their future was such a sweet thing. While not the "sweetest" book in the series (that title belongs to Sunny with a Chance of True Love) this is definitely sweet and sentimental.
Jessie Evans does it again in this second chance book about a young single mother who tries to do the best for everyone around her.
Of course, if you've read Leather and Lace, you've already got a soft spot in your heart for Mia's best friend Tulsi. Well, this is her story about her decision to be a single mother and everything that led up to it. But when something (or someone) threatens to burst the dam on all the secrets she's accumulated over the years, Tulsi pulls out the big guns, doing everything in her power to protect herself and, above everything else, her daughter Clem.
You'll laugh, you'll cringe, you'll cry, and you'll be cheering on a second chance love story like nothing you've ever read before.
I don't remember reading any of Jessie Evans books before, but I do know that anytime I've seen one of the books from this series, I have been interested. Now I know I'll have to read more of them. This is Tulsi and Pike's story. She has had a crush on him since he saved her when she fell in the river when she was little. At eighteen she finally gets mad and ready to give up, but ends up admitting it to the future pro-baseball player, right before he leaves for his first training camp. They have stolen weekends during that summer, and then end up breaking up over some misunderstanding. She never told him or anyone that the little six year old daughter she has, Clementine, is actually his. He is back in town all these years later for his sister's wedding. They still are in love with each other, but Tulsi is still trying to hide the truth. You will have to read this one to see if love really does conquer all or not.
I stalk, I pace, I wait. And then I am able to revisit Lonesome Point, Texas!
I love this series created by Jessie Evans with a small town full of strong, handsome cowboys and quirky characters. People with hopes and dreams, with quirks and edges but at the heart of it always - love. And this addition to the series did not disappoint!
Tulsi is raising Clementine alone, hiding the fact that her best friend's brother was her daughter's father. How this came to be is revealed through both Pike and Tulsi's point of view. They love each other - there really is no one else for either of them - but life is rarely that simple or straightforward.
Pike is a talented baseball player who left his hometown years ago, who returned to celebrate his sister's wedding. Not realizing the secret she kept, he realized he never stopped loving Tulsi and was determined to have the life with her he had always dreamed of. Juggling problems with careers and family, their love may not be enough to overcome long-held secrets. An emotional climax brings it all to a head - would they get their happily ever after?
All I could have hoped for and more! Now back to stalking - Reece's story is next!
